A library combined with an unconventional program pair - skateboarding - that marries the two programs to create a harmonious environment.  A theme of synergy permeates the project through complementary pairs and merges two programs that are rarely associated.

The design sets skateboarding as a spectacle and performance, creating spaces that allow for observance.  The use of ramps through library spaces blurs the boundaries between programs and begins a narrative that reimagines the relationship between libraries and skateboarding.
